I agree with the points that yoou made about the three factors to consider. I think that it is O.K to laugh at a joke as long as it isn't aimed at one just one person as i think if it is general to a race or religion e.t.c. then it is acceptable to find it funny. Hoewever, there is a line that needs to drawn as there is a big difference between joking around and being prejuduce.
